    Description

    I purchased this mint, unissued,1961 Florida passenger car plate on my honeymoon in 1971 from a farmer in Jefferson County who obtained this plate from the Jefferson County Courthouse. The "E" Designation indicates the plate was to be used for a  limousine or bus for hire.  Information obtained from the Florida web site of Jeff Francis.   The farmer planned to use the plate on his chicken farm, god knows the reason.
