Atari 800XL Computer with Power Supply, Manual, A/V Cables, - Tested, Works
I am the original owner of this computer. I tested it thoroughly with 30 cartridges and I made sure that every key and port is working.
I am including the cable intended for use with Atari monitors. It actually works fine when plugging in to a modern HDTV, but the connector colors are reversed from what you would expect. You need to plug the white connector into the yellow video jack and the yellow connector into the white audio jack. Either things were reversed on those old Atari monitors or I somehow got a cable with the pinouts reversed. At any rate, it works fine if you hook it up as I am instructing.
If you prefer to hook this up to the antenna jack on an old CRT television instead, I am also including a cable for that. It has an F-Type screw on coaxial connector for the TV end and an RCA adapter for the computer end. You plug that into the jack labeled “Switch Box” and tune your TV to channel 2 or 3. You don’t need one of those old switch boxes for this to work.
The original power supply is also included.
The paper label on the bottom of the computer came off, the cartrige slot cover doors show a little bit of wear, the vinyl computer cover is a little wrinkled, and the manual is a little wrinkled. Overall, it’s in really good shape, though. See photos.
