  • Condition: Sailor's hat is in good vintage condition. Structurally, the hat is tight with no holes or major damage. It does have moderate to somewhat heavy discoloration particularly around the top ring, with minor spotting in several spots. We never attempt restoration, it looks like the hat can be cleaned. Awesome World War I collectible. Please see pictures.

    British Navy H.M.S. Russell World War I Sailor's Hat Cap w/ Original Box manufactured by Stevens. The H.M.S. Russell was a Duncan-class Royal Navy ship commissioned in 1903 and sunk off the coast of Malta by German U-Boat mines in 1916. However, if you are interested in this listing you probably already know all about the H.M.S. Russell.
    Sailor's hat is in good vintage condition. Structurally, the hat is tight with no holes or major damage. It does have moderate to somewhat heavy discoloration particularly around the top ring, with minor spotting in several spots. We never attempt restoration, it looks like the hat can be cleaned.
