Pair of Small Antique Silver Foil Covered Buddha Figures from Thailand

This is an original pair of Small / Miniature Antique Silver Foil Covered Resin / Clay Buddha Figures from Thailand.  These unique figures were purchased in Bangkok by my expatriate father in the early 1970's during the period of his life when he owned an antique shop in Penang, Malaysia.  These Buddhas were formed over a hardened resin / clay core and the delicate Silver Foil overlay was hammered by the Artisan's hand to add the detail of the Buddha Figure.  They are quite old and appear to date to well before the Turn of the Century.

1st Miniature Buddha Dimensions: 1 inch wide at the base, 2 1/4 inches high with depth of 5/8 of an inch.  Weight: .5 ounces (14 grams)
2nd Miniature Buddha Dimensions: 1 1/8 inch wide at the base, 2 inches high with depth of 3/4 of an inch .  Weight: .5 ounces (13 grams)
