    Description

I purchased these pieces at various yard sales.I believe they are silver-plated,but am not absolutely sure. The bowl measures 6 1/2" in diameter and 3 1/8" high.It says(The Sheffield Silver Co./Made in U.S.A.),on the bottom. The small platter is 7" long by 5" wide and 3/4" high. From what I can make out,it says(R.S.Corp. and LYN SILV) on the bottom end. The larger pitcher/creamer is 3 5/8" high,3 5/16" at the base, and a 2" opening on top. It has a covered spout and looks like a leather covered handle. It says(THE METCALF CO. E G W & S/NICKEL SILVER 149) on the bottom. The smaller creamer is 2 1/2" high,3 1/8" diameter a spout opening and a 1 7/8" base.It says(MB Means Best/ Manning- Bowman & Co.Meriden,Ct.Made in U.S.A.) on the bottom. The 2 cups had handles on them,I assume. The first is 3" high and 2 5/8" in diameter. It has the name SYLVIA imprinted on the side. It says(Wm ROGERS &SON/ 1942/ I S) on the bottom. The other cup is 3 1/8" high and 2 5/8" in diameter. This also says( Wm ROGERS&SON / I S / 1942) on the bottom.I have described these items to the best of my ability and they are being sold as: in "as is" condition.
